About the job
The Production Artist will design original content as well as finalize existing files with accuracy, harnessing their production experience to optimize the final deliverable. With the guidance and collaboration of SPLICE Creative Directors, the Production Artist will become a brand steward with the ability to develop layouts and print ready mechanical files that thoughtfully take into account brand guidelines, client wishes, budget, and technical specifications.
The Production artist will become fluent in the agency workstream process and support the creatives in concepting and bringing the vision to life. The ideal candidate understands the importance of quality and has ample experience prioritizing projects under tight timelines without sacrificing quality.

College degree preferred but equivalent combination of education and experience if candidate possesses necessary skills to successfully perform the key duties of the job
Extensive knowledge of effective print, photo studio, and digital production processes, roles, tools, workflow best practices, and trends
3–5 years of experience in the graphic arts industry (e.g., design studio, agency environment or similar)
Healthcare advertising experience a plus
Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with vendors
Apple Mac equipment and OS proficiency
Adobe Creative Suite (Proficient knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop mandatory)
Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Experience with cloud based workstream applications (Slack, ProofHQ, Egnyte, Dropbox, etc)
